What we look at

Websites and documents.
A focused place to begin.

Tell us whether you need help with your website, digital documents, or both. We’ll agree on a manageable initial screening scope before starting.

Potential barriers in selected content

  • Website issues such as unclear structure, difficult navigation, missing text alternatives, or hard-to-read contrast.
  • Document issues such as heading structure, reading order, links, image descriptions, and tables.
  • Practical priorities for improving the content included in the agreed scope.

The examples above are illustrative. The checks we can perform depend on the content, format, and agreed scope. Not every page, document, or issue is included.

How it works

From a question to a practical plan.

  1. Tell us what you need

Email your organization’s name, your website URL if relevant, and a short description of your concerns. For documents, tell us the format and approximate length first.

  2. Confirm the scope

We’ll agree on the selected pages or document content to screen and discuss timing before the review begins.

  3. Review your findings

You’ll receive a summary of identified potential barriers and suggested priorities. We’ll walk through the findings and your questions at no charge.

This is a limited screening, not a comprehensive audit. It may not identify every barrier, does not certify accessibility, and does not guarantee compliance.

Optional support after screening

Better documents.
From the start - or from here.

Document remediation

We work with existing documents to address accessibility barriers and improve their structure and usability. The approach depends on the file format and source material available.

Accessible document creation

We also help create new documents with accessibility in mind, including clear headings, meaningful links, image descriptions, and thoughtful layouts.

Document remediation, document creation, and website improvement work are separate from the free screening. If you choose our support, paid services use a standard rate of $75/hour, with scope and estimated time agreed in advance.

You can choose another provider, do the work internally, or take no further action. There is no obligation to hire us.

A few helpful answers

Know what to expect.

Can I take the findings to someone else?

Absolutely. Share them with any provider you choose, your web developer, or your own team. You do not need our permission, and you do not need to book paid work with us.

Will the screening fix my website or documents?

The free screening identifies potential barriers within a limited scope and includes a findings review. Remediation and new content creation are separate services, which you may arrange with us or anyone else.

How long will it take?

Timing depends on the content and availability. We’ll discuss it when confirming your screening scope, so you know what to expect before we begin.

Should I send documents with my first email?

Start by describing the documents and their format. Please do not send passwords, private student information, or other sensitive material. We can discuss an appropriate sample and sharing method first.
